A New Blog Website, Coming in Hot!

Fresh off the presses—we’re excited to be officially hosting our own dedicated blog website. Powered by Ghost, our new blog will streamline our communications and make all our publications easier to access from our brand new website, which is set to release in stages over the next several weeks.

Why ditch Medium?
We believe that having our own self-hosted publication, in concert with our new website, will dramatically increase our level of professionalism. That being said, we are not abandoning our presence on Medium, and will continue to cross-publish new articles there as a secondary source for users who prefer it. We have also cross-published our previous Medium articles on CoinMarketCap, X (formerly Twitter), and right here on our new Blog. Summarily:
- Keeping all our news articles on our own domain has a stronger look and feel.
- Self-hosting protects us from changes to other services which regulate their own content and users in very different ways. We use no geo-restrictions on our content, and are highly-resistant to censoring and bot attacks.
- Our blog allows multiple authors to publish content, which allows for a greater variety of media to be shared.
From now on, you will find all our articles first on blog.aviator.ac.
Product Updates
Earlier this May, we released SkyBridge to a public beta testnet which allowed all users to interact with our work-in-progress User Interface. We received a tremendous amount of feedback and conducted two rounds of focus groups to review feedback and desired changes. And what was the overwhelming response?
SkyBridge must be easier to use.
We heard you.
We took this feedback from our testnet website—which is now closed—and rebuilt our design from the ground up. We will continue to evolve our designs based on user feedback and additional live test sessions.

Unified Branding
In addition to user feedback, we have also received extensive feedback from crypto institutions. Using this information—based on direct suggestions from a member of Coinbase's Base team—we went to the drawing board to re-conceptualize our brand presence. Our unified branding will become omnipresent across all our different applications to create cohesion for our users and partners.

SkyBridge Bug Bounty
We have updated and relaunched our HackenProof bug bounty program for SkyBridge's new smart contracts! This bounty will run indefinitely with rewards up to $15,000 in USDT for valid bug reports.
Crowdsourcing security through a bug bounty program will further protect SkyBridge and the Aviator ecosystem. Skilled hackers can earn cash prizes for their work in uncovering potential exploits that our development team can quickly patch on the spot.

What’s Next?
SkyBridge is next! We have a lengthy events calendar lined up for our launch week, so stay tuned! The release date will be shared 3-5 days before the mainnet launch. We could not be more excited to share our work of this year with you all.
Additionally, a detailed documentation website for developers wanting to build on / integrate SkyBridge into their apps, as well as for generalized user-support and address references, will be published alongside SkyBridge’s release.
We will publish another blog article this week taking a deeper dive into our recent Hacken audit—an exploration of risks and the design decisions behind them, security considerations made by the development team for attack prevention and disaster recovery, and business logic considerations and how they reflect in the final design of our smart contracts for SkyBridge.
